Download Exness, then run the pre-deposit check - Uzbekistan
Get the trading app, MetaTrader 5 / MT4 or the web terminal from its official source, then clear the account-side list while the balance is still zero: profile details against your identity document, verification finished, the right account number and its base currency.
Open Exness Account →Downloading Exness and being ready to fund an account are two different states. The app or the terminal lands on the device in a few minutes; the account-side readiness lives in the Personal Area and is worth clearing while the balance is still zero: profile details that match your identity document, verification finished rather than pending, the trading account you actually intend to use picked out of the list, and its base currency read before money is on it. This page assumes the download itself went fine and asks the next question instead - is the account behind it ready to receive a first deposit?

Which one do I need?
Not sure which to get? The Exness Trade app (Android and iOS) is the simplest way to trade on a phone. On a computer, MetaTrader 5 or MetaTrader 4 installs on Windows and macOS for advanced charting, while the Exness Terminal runs in any browser with nothing to download. Google Play and the App Store are the official app sources; an APK from a third-party site such as apkpure is not recommended for a financial app.
Open an Exness account →Two kinds of readiness that get confused
A finished download proves one thing only: a trading front end now exists on this device. It says nothing about whether the account behind it can accept a first deposit. The two live in different places - the front end on the device, the profile on the broker side, tied to you rather than to any installation.
That split explains a common sequence. Someone installs, signs in, sees the interface, assumes the setup is done, and meets the half-finished profile only at the moment of the first funding attempt. Reading the profile first inverts the order: the awkward part is dealt with while nothing is at stake and the balance is still zero.
Nothing in the account-side checklist depends on which of the routes above you took to get the software. The same items apply whether you signed in from a phone, from a desktop terminal or from the browser version - the profile is one, the ways into it are many.
Profile details a first deposit leans on
The first item is the spelling of your full name. It should read exactly as on the identity document you plan to use: the same order of names, the same transliteration, no shortened middle name and no nickname carried over from an email address. A one-letter difference is invisible while the account simply sits there.
Then date of birth and country of residence. Residence in particular drifts - people register, move, and never revisit the field. What is on file is what the profile is treated as describing, so it should say where you live now rather than where you lived when the profile was created.
Finally the contact channels. An email inbox you can open today and a phone number that receives codes are what confirmations and security prompts travel through. A dead address on file is far easier to notice before it is needed than at the moment it is.
Mismatches that surface only at the first funding attempt
Most of what stalls a first deposit is undramatic: an identity document whose expiry date has quietly passed, a verification step still marked as in progress because one photo was cropped, an email confirmation that was never opened. None of these announce themselves while the account is empty and idle.
A second family of mismatches is about the destination rather than the person - a deposit aimed at whichever trading account the interface happened to open first, while the one you meant to use waits empty next to it. Noting the account number before you start, not after, removes that whole class of confusion.
A third is about scale: the account type you opened has its own entry threshold, and a first deposit sized below it is a plan that will not fit. Which types exist and what each one is meant for is a separate question, covered on the account types page.
A pre-funding pass through the Personal Area
- Sign in to the Personal Area with the email you registered under - the client portal, not the trading platform password.
- Open the profile and read your full name against the identity document letter by letter, including the order of the names.
- Check the date of birth and the country of residence, and correct residence if you have moved since registering.
- Look at the verification status and finish anything still marked as in progress: a step in progress is not a step that is done.
- Confirm that the document you uploaded is still valid on today's date, not only on the day it was uploaded.
- Pick the trading account you intend to fund and write its number down, so nothing lands on a neighbouring account by accident.
- Read the base currency shown next to that account and make sure it is the unit you want the balance to be denominated in.
- Check that the account type is the one you meant to open, since the amount needed to start differs by type - see account types.
Verification belongs to the profile rather than to any single deposit: done once, while the account is still empty, it keeps a first funding from waiting on documents.
Pre-deposit check, item by item
| Check | Where it lives | Why before rather than after |
|---|---|---|
| Full name spelling | Personal Area profile | Has to match the identity document you will use |
| Date of birth | Personal Area profile | Read together with the document, not from memory |
| Country of residence | Personal Area profile | Drifts silently after a move |
| Email and phone | Personal Area settings | Confirmations and security prompts arrive there |
| Verification status | Personal Area verification section | In progress is not the same as done |
| Document expiry date | The document itself, read against today | Valid on upload is not valid forever |
| Account number to fund | The list of trading accounts | Keeps a deposit off a neighbouring account |
| Base currency of that account | The list of trading accounts | Settled when the account is created |
| Account type | The list of trading accounts | The amount needed to start differs by type |
Every line is free to check while the balance is zero, which is the cheapest moment for all of them.
What each profile field should match
| Field | Should match | Read it against |
|---|---|---|
| Full name | The identity document, character for character | The document, not memory |
| Date of birth | The same document | The document |
| Country of residence | Where you live now | Your current address, not the registration date |
| An inbox you can open today | A message you send yourself | |
| Phone | A number that receives codes | A code request |
| Document expiry | A date still ahead | Today's date |
Fields are read at the moment of a first deposit, so a value that was right at registration is not automatically right now.
